We're celebrating the first birthday party of our area's community radio station! Families are welcome, and should join us for a free afternoon of kid-friendly events, including music from Lizzie & Baba, collaborative mural-making, Brian Dewan with puppet-mistress Trixie, the Diata Diata International Folkloric Theater, a cake potluck, a recording station for you to make your own station IDs, surprise special guests, and more. We will be broadcasting live moments from the Community Center throughout the day, and our regular Sunday radio hosts will be contributing with special party-themed programming, so even if you can't make it out you can tune in and join the party vibe.

Would you like to help out during the festivities? We’re looking for decorating volunteers, party supplies (those three left-over party hats from New Year’s 2006 gladly accepted), rogue brass bands, cake bakers, and birthday song crooners.
